Did some research and saw this was one of the oldest wine estates in Bordeaux so I wanted to check this out. We did a tour, it was pretty easy to check in, there are a lot of signs that point you to the right direction. At first we check out the outside of the chateau and hotel, hear about the history and then we check out the vineyards briefly. After this we see the process of how wine is made and then how it is barreled. Lastly is a tasting where you try 3 wines, 2 reds and 1 white. Solid tour and they also have a shop to buy wine. They also can ship the bottles to you which is very convenient. Would recommend to others to visit.

Simply amazing experience! Very warm welcome in, with a glass of their best wine and tour of the chateau and its history. We stayed one night in a "Suite mon seul reve", beautifully decorated with many historical objects all over the suite, huge comfortable bed, spacious rooms, with beautiful views of garden and vineyards. We loved the dinner at chateau, crystal & silver tableware, very intimate and privet atmosphere, delicious food, wine and top service. In the morning we enjoyed breakfast in the room and in the afternoon we had our wine tour & tasting. Haven't seen more luxurious winery.

Came here today forces wine tour and tasting. The tour was was wonderful. It was interesting and the grounds were beautiful. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and kept things moving. My biggest disappointment was the wine tasting. We tasted 3 wines. A white Bordeaux and 2 reds. I didn’t care for any of them. I really wanted to ship a case home but since the 3 I tasted we’re not what I like, I left empty handed.

The four seasons tour itself was fine, nothing special tbh. We did another tour the day after which was amazing. The chateau itself is beautiful. Wine was delicious but the tasting room was just not in keeping with the chateau. You have a space which is full of history and the tasting room looks out of an IKEA catalogue. Also please make sure if u have groups of 3 u set the tables for tasting accordingly. I was with a friend, 2 of us, and we were asked to sit on different tables. If we are together we want to enjoy the tasting together and to see the host being annoying to have to prep another table when is not my fault, it's making the whole experience even less enjoyable.

Wow wow wow!!! We stayed at Chateau Pape Clement for 3 nights, ate at the restaurant, and did the tour & tasting. From the moment you arrive, you are made to feel so very welcome. We were received by Davide, who was so very wonderful, passionate, and knowledgeable about the chateau. He welcomed us with glasses of delicious wine and then took us on a tour of passion, explaining all the famous pieces of art that decorate every corner of the chateau. The room itself was perfectly cozy, comfortable and complete with a written welcome letter from Bernard Margrez painting his policy of "make yourself at home". It truly feels like you are walking into an existing and lived-in 18th century chateau and are part of the family. You are lulled to sleep every night by the faint sound of classical music being played from the lobby. Every morning, there is even a delicious breakfast waiting for you. All the staff are excellent, they spare no expense to make sure you feel like royalty. The dinner was excellent as well, we ended up cancelling reservations in the city to dine at Pape Clement a second night. We easily put Pape Clement among the best places we have ever stayed.

Even though I have visited a lot of wineries, this one impressed me greatly! Very big, rich and beautiful winery. We had a tour & tasting in English and everything was great for a very good price! Thank you, Pape Clement!

Overall, the wineyard and chateau was very beautiful and we took a lot of beautiful pictures. Our tour guide explained everything well. However, there are a few things that could be improved upon: Our wine tasting experience was suboptimal, because our glasses were smaller than others in the group. The level of wine we got was the same compared to others with bigger glasses. Hence, we got less wine compared to the others. Parts of the tour took place directly under sunlight and it was a very hot day. We stood for a good 15 min under sunlight while listening to the tour guide. Some discretion could be practiced, such as maximising our time at the shade during the explanation followed by time for those who want to take pictures under direct sunlight. The wine tasting room could have been cooler, the air conditioning does not seemed to be switched on. The tour guide was making up information about how the vineyard was watered. From our previous tours, we know that it is the regulation not to use irrigation on the vineyards in Bordeaux. However, she did not know about this, and said that the vineyards were irrigated with water spray.

Very nice vinery in the heart of the bordeaux region. The tour guide was very kind and replied to all our questions, adding many interesting information. The castle is really beautiful, as well as the story behind it. The visit was worth it. I recommend the tour with the wine tasting.
